Iceland or known to the locals as "Ice Island", located in the north Atlantic on the mid-Atlantic ridge boasts a location that is highly geologically active in regards to many of its volcanoes. The island is vast but almost empty of people consisting of a population of nearly quarter of million people. The stunning topography consists and differentiates from jagged lava fields, active volcanoes; glacial rivers, cascading huge waterfalls, lava flows and natural hot springs not to mention the frequent earthquakes this makes the off road experience one of a kind and in our eyes this is the only way to travel this land adventurously. The people are very warm and welcoming and they have a rich history or intellectual pursuits and also vast craftworks are part of their pastimes. The entire above combined make this destination not only stubborn and severe but beautiful and rare in the fact that all the landscapes are completely natural and ever changing.
Silver strips of turbulent rivers and waterfalls are rip-roaring through the scenic islands kaleidoscope of colorfully natural volcanic rocks. Ocean coast cliffs are lined with huge colonies of seabirds such as puffins, skuas and kittiwakes with the occasional visit from polar bears and artic fox's on the ice plains and inland. On our routes were are treated to one of a kind roads alongside special vegetation patches where the land is furnace hot creating geysers, lava flows and natural hot springs. Isolated farmlands and roaming shepherds can be spotted in the vastness of the tour also miles and miles of un-spoilt wilderness.
