Our inspiring journey begins when we greet the Jeeps and friendly guide early in the morning in Athens and head north on the highways the group stops at Sirius Bridge for an early lunch here we will be able to see the Helicon Ridge which were sacred to the Muses from Greek Mythology. We experience our first taste of reall off road as we climb over the peaks and descend onto dirt roads into a spectacular canyon "gulf of Itea" for a small hike. By foot we arrive at a series of clear pools and after taking in the atmosphere of this isolated place we swim in its crystal waters. By late afternoon and more testing the SUV's we arrive at the ski town of Karpenisis which is rated as one ofthe most beautiful towns in Greece. The group then enjoys a interesting visit to the Black Cave (Mavr Spilia) which is famous for its natural wonderment and where Partisans hid during the second world war. Evening will be spent in a small village near Karpenisis tasting the local delicasies in a tavern then sleeping in the hotel.

Day 2 - The Switzerland of Greece.

Early morning we head South convoy style through small isolated villages & Charming off road byways that are divided by breathtaking mountains and stunning fauna carpeted landscapes. This is the best way to start the day and of course see why Greece is such a rural Gem. We stop first in a quiet town and relax drinking coffee with a local farmer and then onto the river of Krikelopotamos and have a leisurely swim in its waters. After drying off we walk by foot to visit the "Eternal Rain" waterfall.  More great off road ensues as we arrive at another small village and meet some of the locals to see how they live in such dramatic surroundings. By early evening and after a busy and enjoyable day we relax and have dinner in a tavern. Afterwards there is the option to sample the bars in the town or go and rest in the hotel grounds. Hotel is the same as last night in Karpenisis.

Day 3 - The serenity of Plastira & the best views in Greece.

To the north we ascend along the channels of Agrafiotis the river that runs through the whole prefecture of Evrytania.  We come to a local flour mill for a tour and see the ancient natural stone bridges and learn of their histories. Eat lunch at the beautiful Agrafa named after the Greek god. Prepare yourself for the greatest sights in regards to scenery this tour has to show us as we climb over the Niall Ridge and gasp at the high slopes we reside on. This is one of the best focal points in Greece we get a great eagle eye view of stunning varied topography. After catching our breathe we pass over Niall Ridge and arrive at what is considered the most magnificent lake in GreeceLake Plastiras.  We walk the banks and view the mirror like qualities of this serene and relaxing place.  That eve and head to the hotel to discuss the days sights & experiences.

Day 4 - Kayaking in Lake Plastira.

We open this morning with a placid Kayaking tour of Lake Plastiras following this we can have a swim in its warm waters. Next through the valley of Thessaly we test the SUV's on routes that are sometimes challenging until we reach Elati village and view all the local wooden arts and crafts andexplorethe town. We now drive off road until we arrive in Kastraki where we look now up at the cliffs we came from then scour the town with a walking tour and finishing up we eat in a local taverna. Hotel is situated in the center of Kastraki

Day 5 - Floating cliffs of Meteora & Farewell Greece.

The superior floating cliffs of Meteora will be one of the first things you see today accompanied by a landscape of cliffs and monasteries built inside them. A walk amongst the cliffs to reach secluded beauty spots will work up an appetite for lunch in Kalambaka voted numerous times as the most exquisite places in Greece. On the way back to Athens we stop in a town King Leonades "the movie 300 was based on him" here we hear of the brave and heroic story whilst standing next to the statue of this great man.
